Solution 1: Change Local Group Settings Step 1. You launch Command Prompt as Administrator. Step 2. Then you type exactly the following command then hit Enter: NET LOCALGROUP administrators “NT Authority\Local Service” /ADDf Step 3. Finally, you restart your computer.
Solution 2. Reinstall WMP Step 1. Open Run command box by pressing Windows key + R. Step 2. Type the following C:\Windows\System32\OptionalFeatures.exe and press Enter to open Turn Windows Features On or Off. Step 3. Next, you uncheck Media Features checkbox then click OK. Step 4. Now, you need to restart your computer. Step 5. After restarting your computer, you repeat steps # 1-2 above. Step 6. Finally, you check the Media Features checkbox, click OK and restart your computer once again.
Solution 3: Using Registry Editor Step 1. First of all, you open Registry Editor by pressing Windows Key + R, then type regedit and click OK. Step 2. In the left pane of Registry Editor, you go to following registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explor er\Advanced Step 3. Next, you need to find SeparateProcess named registry DWORD (REG_DWORD). Double click it to modify its Value data. Step 4. Now you put 0 in the Edit DWORD Value. Then click OK. Step 5. Finally, you can close Registry Editor and restart your computer. The problem will be resolved.
