  2. Boden started out as a small church village. The church was built in 1827 The first real mention of it as a village is in 1539 in a taxform. Boden didn’t get official town privileges until 1919. History

  3. Boden is a military town.During the second world war Boden played a big role in Sweden’s history. It: Has 5 large fortresses. Was the main defense line towards the russians. Held parts of Swedens gold reserve. Was the main training place for Swedens army, more than 13% of the army was stationed there. Coat of arms - Bodens regiment I 19

  4. The Iron Ore Line Narvik – Boden 398 kilometers long. +46 kilometers to Luleå for processing. Ore transported to Germany during WWII.

Some informations about the school • The school initiate 1986, and the name was Björknässkolan, but they changs the name 2007 to Björknäsgymnasiet. • We have 13 programs in the school whit 60 persons in every program from the first to the last year. • Every school day we have huge good lunch, free for the students, and a cafeteria there we can by candys or some coffey. • We have a library, there can we take it easy, read a book or something els.

About the restaurant program • Our program offer directions to restaurant and food service. • We have a own restaurant ”Viljan” there we jobb practical whit cooking and serve, and we planad menu to the restaurant. • And the best of all we have the best teaters in the world!!! • But beside the education we have lesions lika matt, swedish and english.. • Under the education we have 15 Week apu (practice),
