Fair & Square. Positives of Direct Democracy. Direct democracy is for a small voting community. Since there is only going to be about 100 people on the island, direct democracy would work prefect. Direct democracy gives everyone a voice and who ever is the leader to much power. Drawbacks.

  2. Positives of Direct Democracy Direct democracy is for a small voting community. Since there is only going to be about 100 people on the island, direct democracy would work prefect. Direct democracy gives everyone a voice and who ever is the leader to much power.

  3. Drawbacks The drawback of direct democracy is the Referenda when people try to dismiss direct democracy. When political people ideas are put down for useless ideas that area can become ruined. They always have to re-draft the law because they made a mistake. Getting everyone to vote and counted for could take all day.

  4. Maintain order & nature of man • Direct Democracy is where we as people get to vote on laws and also get to lead ourselves. There was only Thomas More in history that we know of that believed in this. He really wanted us to be able to lead ourselves and vote on the laws before they are passed. If we were to be able to do that than some people would just vote and not find out what the laws mean. Then again there are some people that would go and find out what the laws mean before voting.

  5. We want you for Direct Democracy A government made for the people for the people. Getting your say in what you want.

  6. Critique • In the book animal farm Napoleon was a direct. By using direct democracy our leader wont have too much power and wont be able to abuse it. Our leader wont turn into napoleon.
