Other amenities include newsstands, bars, barbershops, post offices, and bank branches. Taxi stands, rental-car agencies, and huge parking lots are necessary to accommodate ground connections. Many airports, particularly in Europe and Japan, also supply direct rail links to expedite such traffic. International terminals must also have customs areas and currency-exchange counters; most have duty-free shops as well.
