The purpose of this program and other programs in this catechetical series is to give honor and glory to God, our Father and to obey Jesus command to spread the “Good News to all the nations” Let us pray: Father we thank you for the gift of life you have given us. We thank you for most beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, whom You sent to teach us to know, love and serve you, and who suffered and died for our redemption. We thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit, and pray that the Holy Spirit will open our minds and hearts as we strive through our studies to know, love and serve you better. We offer this thanksgiving and petition in Jesus name. Amen

  5. WE CAN KNOW THAT GOD EXIST BY OUR NATURAL REASONING THE WORLD WE SEE ABOUT US COULD HAVE BEEN MADE ONLY BY A SELF-EXISTING BEING, ALL-WISE AND ALMIGHTY

  10. GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS THE EARTH ALL OF NATURE

  11. GOD CREATED MAN & WOMEN ALL THAT IS SEEN AND UNSEEN

  12. CREATION He is the Creator of all things, heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them GOD

  13. CREATION The difference between human beings and all other things God has created is? Human beings have bodies, intellect and free will

  14. CREATION What do we mean when we say humans have a free will and intellect Free will means: One can make choices Intellect means: Humans can think and reason Freewill and an intellect comes with Responsibility

  15. CREATION Responsibility means We are responsible for “ALL” of our Thoughts, Words, Actions, and Deeds. All of which have CONSEQUENCES

  16. CREATION Responsibility means When we stand before God at the end of our life we will have to answer for the choices we made in life. We won’t be able to blame anyone for our actions.

  17. CREATION THE HIGHEST CREATURES GOD FASHIONED ARE SPIRITS. THEY ARE CALLED? THE THREE ANGELS NAMED IN THE SCRIPTURES ARE? ANGELS RAPHAEL GABRIEL MICHAEL

  18. CREATION Good Angels are in Heaven Bad Angels are in Hell Chief of the fallen Angels is Satan

  19. CREATION • MAN IS COMPOSED OF: BODYAND SOUL HUMAN BEINGS ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD

  20. CREATION HAVING BEEN CREATED IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD MEANS HUMAN BEINGS HAVE AN INTELLECT AND A FREE WILL

  21. CREATION The first human beings God created were: ADAM AND EVE He put them in the GARDEN OF EDEN Sometimes called PARADISE

  22. CREATION ADAM AND EVE WERE TEMPTED BY? SATAN TO EAT OF THE FRUIT OF THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN

  23. CREATION THE SIN OF ADAM AND EVE IS CALLED ORIGINAL SIN BECAUSE OF THEIR DISOBEDIENCE GOD DROVE THEM OUT OF PARADISE THEIR PUNISHMENT WAS SIN DEATH SUFFERING

  24. CREATION ADAM’S DESCENDENTS ARE BORN WITH ORIGINAL SIN AND WILL BECAUSE OF ADAM AND EVE SIN, SUFFER AND DIE

  25. CREATION WHEN ADAM AND EVE SINNED THEY LOST? SANCTIFYING GRACE A FREE GIFT FROM GOD

  26. CREATION SANCTIFYING GRACE? ALLOWS US TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD TO SHARE IN HIS DIVINE NATURE TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE
