  2. The purpose of the factor-label method is to convert units into other units Convert 34 cm into meters. 1) write given info • find a conversion factor • Put units in correct spot • Do the math 100 cm = 1 m 34 cm = 0.34 m X

  3. Convert 5.5 m into centimeters 5.5 m X = 550 cm Convert 36 in2 into square feet. Need to do it twice because really (in x in) 1 36 in2 X X = 0.25 ft2

  4. Convert 55 mile per hour into feet per second. X X = Hour needs to go on top to cancel out the hour on the bottom
