  2. Sunday, August 7th Dear diary, My father and my mother want to go at Pierrey, “A corner of Heaven” how to they tell it. It’s a little chalet of my mother’s friend Grazia, who everybody tell “Cha-cha”. “We want to go on holidays, so we are going to go to Pierrey. We have to stay there for three days, without any kind of technology, computer, oven, television…” my mother told me. “ Aaargh ! I can’t stay there ! I will be crazy without a computer ! And i will get cold without radiators in my bedroom !” I told her, but his look said “shut up”, so I have to go there, for three days, without any contact with my friends, hanging my life totally. But...my mother didn’t say me “don’t take the mobile”…I will chat with my friends ! Yeah ! I will survive ! Ok…now I can prepare my rucksack…

  3. Monday, August 8th Dear diary, I decided to speak about this holiday a bit. We will depart tomorrow, at 9 o’ clock. We have 3 hours of cars to do…Oh dear…and we will arrive for lunch. Then, we will greet Cha-cha and her brother, who work for her at the chalet for a bit of time, her sister and her sister’s husband, and Salimata, a little, young girl who is there with Cha-cha’s sister. I don’t know what to do once I will be there…but, I will know. I put in my rucksack a little mobile phone, charged and with money, Bingo, beetle, a camera, a binoculars and things like that can be used in the mountain. I’ve took also my knife brand “Opinel”…Can always be useful !

  4. Tuesday, August 9th Dear diary, We arrived to Pierrey. It isn’t to awful…it’s really beautiful ! When we went down by the car, immediately come to meet us Salimata and…A dog ??? “That’s Baldo, my brother’s dog” said Cha-cha…What a wonderful dog ! He is very kind, intelligent and good-looking. I adore it ! He immediately licked my check in greeting…Oh dear, what a wonderful animal ! Well, then I decided to do something. I went immediately to search a long stick to do a alpenstock…naturally with my “Opinel” ! I sat me on a log near the cabin, and I started to remove the bark. I was at half stick when Salimata came and said me : “Can you do an alpenstock also for me ?” naturally I said “yes, but you have to find a stick for me, so I can do your alpenstock”. After 5 minutes I was doing an alpenstock to her, a beautiful alpenstock. Then, we did a very big lunch, and in the afternoon we go to search mushrooms. When we returned to the chalet, Salimata and his grand-parents had to go. They greeted us and then they left the chalet. Oh, what a day !

  5. Wednesday, August 10th Dear diary, Yesterday we go to sleep at midnight, with candles and flashlights. I put a t-shirt, a pail, a golf, two pair of socks, my sleeping bag and three blankets. It’s a lot cold in the night here ! In the fountain there was ice ! We crushed it, and we could wash our teeth and wash our faces. Then, for the morning, Cha-cha, her brother and my parents go on a trip, and I staid at home, to do English homeworks. I’m not too sad, anyway. I put pieces of wood in the stove, ouronly source of heat. I did a bit of homeworks, then I read my favourite book, “The Lord of Rings”. After 2-3 hours, they returned. They found a lot of mushrooms !!! It isn’t possible ! Yesterday we didn’t find anything ! Oh…I don’t understand why ! Then…nothing of interesting. I staid for all the afternoon out, to tan me and read a bit. I caressed a little the dog and I rested out for all the day. At evening, weate a kingdinner with thatmushrooms….theywerewonderful !!! In the eveningweplayedcards and beetles. Then, I went sleeping but first…I chatted with my friends !

  6. Thursday, August 11th Deardiary, Thisis the last day. In the morning, I and myparents go to searchmushrooms, butwedidn’tfindanything. I wouldbet… Well…then, weate lunch with mushroomsagain. In the afternoon, I staid out to tan me but…Aaargh ! Suddenlymyeyeswereburning and mynosewasrunning…I think an allergyatsomething…what a pain…I had to stay all the afternoon sleeping on my bed…Oh no…I slept and I chat with my friends with the mobile phone…I triedalso to do homeworks, but I couldn’t stay with openedeyes ! At evening, myeyesdidn’tburn and mynosestopped…oh, I have a saint in heaven ! Wepreparedourrucksacks, trolleys and thingslikethat and we put theminto the car. Cha-cha and hisbrothergreetedus with handkerchiefs and bells. WecouldleavePierreyfinally ! But…I’mnottoo happy… itwill miss me…forever !
