  1. Who we are? • Journalistic association founded in 1998. • Fellowship of Catholic Journalists • Former member of the International Catholic Union of the Press (UCIP) and the International Network of Young Journalists.

What are our purposes? • to associate young Catholics, who work in the media, with purpose to deepen their personable, spiritual, theoretic and also practical journalistic qualities; • to protect professional concerns of our members in line with journalistic ethics; • to advocate rightful working demands of our members.

What are methods of Network Slovakia´s activity? • responsible and high-class activity in media, • interchange of specialized knowledge, information, experience and proposals, • organization of educational seminars and meetings, • creating international contacts and possibilities of foreign internships, • cooperation with similar journalistic organizations in Slovakia and abroad, • another proper methods.

What are activities of Network Slovakia? • Annual summer journalistic seminar in Ružomberok; 2009 – 12th year • Conferences with participation of professional media representatives • Civic activities (for instance, appeal to communal elections in 2006) • Issuance of international press cards. • Maintenance of webpage www.networkslovakia.sk • Maintenance of blog networkslovakia.blogspot.com • Personal support for e-magazine www.postoy.sk

What are activities of Network Slovakia? • We form and build up fellowship between young journalists. • We cooperate with journalists from various media. • We make journalistic internships abroad possible . For example, in 2006 were members of Network Slovakia for foreign internships in Czech republic, Italy, Austria and Germany.
