  6. It Takes a Village… • Let us consider the roles of Early Childhood Professionals in relationship to this African Proverb “It takes a village to raise a child”. • Who are the people that you consider to be a part of your students or your own child’s “village” community?

  7. Topic One • A single parent with no extended family close by comes to you and expresses the feeling of being overwhelmed. As an early child care provider, what advice would you give? What kinds of support might be needed?
