  2. Venue • 2010 Battle At the Beach • July 21st- July 26th • Cape Cod Community College • Hyannis, Ma • State of the Art Dorm Rooms • Adequate field space for 40 games at a time • State of the art athletic facilities

Cost • Price- $575 per player • Covers living in the dorm for the week • Meals (dinner Sunday, 3 meals M,T,W,T, and breakfast on Friday) • Event Management, Operation, Officials fees • Team Reversible Jersey • Recruiting Assistance • Player and Team Awards • $375 off site cost- if they lived near by or did not want to stay in dorms

  4. Registration Info • Required information 4 months prior to the first day of camp • Most teams are selected by January • High school teams and free agent players • High School teams that are already a team • Free agent players-players that are not on a team but register for the camp • 4 months will give time for allow our organizers to coordinate all payments, all required paperwork, and housing for participants, coordinate the dining services, scheduling, referees, uniforms, rosters, player portfolios and emergency management procedures.

  5. Teams • Student Athletes grades 9-12 • 40 teams, max 25 man roster • 1000 players, approximately 120 coaches 3 per team • Each team will be assigned a host coach, from UMASS Amherst lacrosse team • Will consist of all elite players from anywhere, mainly in the MA, VT, NH, ME, RI, CT, NY areas

  6. Mission Statement •    There is a place for every young lacrosse player who aspires to play in college. The goal of Battle At The Beach Lacrosse Camp is to help place prospective student-athletes in a college program that best suits their level of play and gives them the best college playing experience.

  7. The Purpose • To have fun and meet other athletes • To place student athletes into a college level of play • To showcase the students athletes to college coaches

Timeline • At night there will be full camp meetings with speeches from coaches • On night dedicated to the recruiting process and guest speaking from UMASS Amherst Lacrosse players about College Lacrosse • Informative session with strength and conditioning coaches to inform students about being in shape and how to keep in shape

  10. Format • 40 teams in a pool format in 10 groups and 4 teams in each group • Each team will play 3 members in their pool • Also 3 games in the consecutive group • Sample if team makes it into Championship
