Either of the driver sets will work for Windows 7, but the drivers are not certified, at this time. To Install using the USB Certified DriverUtility Installation Program 1) Go to the Digital Check web site under the Service & Support section and download the Tellerscan Drv VXX Cert.zip file. http://www.digitalcheck.com/l2_ss_downloads.html Note: This file is also on the Service CD in the Programs, Drivers folder. 2) Be sure the scanner is powered off. 3) Unzip the file into a directory and run the exe file to install the certified USB drivers. 4) Select the Next and Finish buttons, then power the scanner on. 5) The Scanner will self install. Check the Device Manager section under USB devices. You should see a TS Device in the list. When the application (like Scanlite) acquires the scanner, the device will change to Tellerscan. 6) This special utility loads out the current level of TS220Firmware.bin, TS230Firmware.bin, TS440Firmware.bin and CX30Firmware.bin files into the default location and loads the current 2007 digitally signed USB driver. The 2007 level of the USB driver has a built in keep alive for the USB port, butmanually turning off the USB Root Hub power management feature may be needed in some cases. To Install using the USB Individual driver files (these are the same certified files) 1) Go to the Programs, Drivers folder and point to the TSUSB2.INF file. 2) Note: This only installs the USB driver and does not copy over any firmware files. 3) Copy out the firmware files into the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers folder. With Demo code V10 and newer, it will look for firmware in the demo code directory. Now the system is ready to be used.
