VS A la carte Reimbursable • Can be as many or as few items as you would like • Can come from any food groups • Will vary in cost depending on what you choose • Will not count for free and reduced lunch • Must include at least 3 food groups • One must be a fruit • Can only include one entree • Will always cost $1.35 (or less for those on free and reduced lunch)

  3. Reimbursable guidelines • To qualify as a reimbursable breakfast and cost you exactly $1.35, you must choose items from at least 3 of the food groups below: • Grain • Protein • Dairy • Fruit • One must be a fruit to qualify

  4. Reimbursable examples grain The “Tin Foil Yummy” and fruit protein fruit

  6. Yes! $1.35, please! You can even add a milk and it will still only cost $1.35.

  15. No! You only have two food groups, and you don’t have a fruit. This would be a la carte pricing: 75¢ for the bagel and 40¢ for the milk.

  18. Why are we telling you this? Because Grab and Go Breakfast will be served from 8:50-9:00 every day in the main hallway outside of your classrooms.

  19. Other details: • The money will come from the same place as your lunch account. • Those choosing to NOT purchase breakfast will go directly their 2nd period class. • You will eat your breakfast in your 2nd period class between 8:50 and 9:02. • You will be responsible for cleaning up your own mess, should you make one, in the classroom by 9:02.

  20. Other details: • You may choose to eat breakfast in Westfall from 7:50-8:00 but then you CANNOT get a reimbursable breakfast at 8:50. • You can still get a la carte items at 8:50 though.

  21. 6th, 7th, 8thgraders: You will line up in the hallway just north of the double doors by the 5/6 lockers.

  22. If your first period class is in the freshman/sophomore hallway, the art room, or gym: You will line up in the hallway by Mrs. Hughes’ window

  23. If your first period class is in the junior/senior hallway or portables: You will line up in the hallway by Mr. Pritchett’s window

  24. Ask one of your kitchen staff (Jeanie, Amy or Danni), Mr. Adams or Mrs. Dolliver Questions?
