Development of Communication 1990’s-2000 1960’s-1980’s 1900-1920’s 1920’s-1950’s • "Telestar I", a satellite, first beamed television programs • Intel 4004 for the computer, that could be programmed. • 1st VCR with the VHS (instead of Beta) format. • Television began to be broadcast in Stereo. • 1stwireless communication of human speech • 1stbroadcast radio station • 1sttelevision broadcast • 1stcommercial television began. • Color television broadcast standards are set • 1st Satellite information sent back to earth. • High Definition TV standards agreed. • Intel introduces the Pentium III processor, taking personal computing to new highs.
