  1. Un newyorkez se pensioneaza si vrea sa-si investeasca banii de pensie in mod intelept. Astfel, s-a gandit sa-si cumpere o casa si cativa acri de pamant in Portugalia. Cea mai modesta ferma era libera de 15 ani: proprietarul si sotia acestuia erau amandoi decedati si nu aveau mostenitori. Casa era scoasa la vanzare pentru a plati taxele. Mai fusesera cativa doritori dar casa era modesta, iar hambarul cel mare avea usile metalice sudate si nimeni nu vroia sa mai plateasca in plus pentru a deschide usile si a vedea ce este inauntru. Oricum proprietatea nu arata cine stie ce asa ca nimeni n-a facut o oferta.Asa se face ca newyorkezul a cumparat proprietatea la jumatate de pret, s-a mutat, a cumparat un generator si doua polizoare si a taiat usile metalice. Ce era in hambar?...............
