What is a Herpetologist ? • A Herpetologist is a person who studies reptiles and amphibians. Being a Herpetologist is a sub-field biology.
Where can you become a Herpetologist? • To become a Herpetologist you have to go to college. It doesn’t matter what college you go to as long as it has a strong background in science, math, and English.
Herpetologists • One Herpetologist is Steve Erwin. Steve Erwin died in the year 2006. He died from a string ray accident while filming a video for his TV show.
How do Herpetologist study snakes ? • When a Herpetologist is studying a snake they take the snake and do something called milking the snake, milking the snake means that they take the venom out of the snakes teeth and after they do that the Herpetologist takes the venom and use it to help people in the hospital to help cure people with snake bites.
