Summary of Results Births Deaths Protestant deaths outnumber Catholic deaths (2:1) Even in 2009 - 4% of deaths were to people who lived in a communal establishment in 2001 • Catholic births marginally greater than Protestant births • Increase in births to mothers aged 35 or more www.nisra.gov.uk/demography www.qub.ac.uk/nils
