  3. Whoami? • When working with the HP VAN SDN controller, and others, the operator gets limited information about switches that are receiving openflow messages from the controller. In network management information about location, owner and vendor can be obtained by the snmp contact information. Glarn can determine if dpids being managed by the SDN controller are also being managed by HP IMC and will automatically gather the system contact information and populate the glarn database. For devices not found in IMC, glarn creates manageable database entires to allow for operators to add, edit, delete and list this information. Glarn will also allow for the listing of all nodes and flows in the SDN environment.
