  1. Restore Informatica 7 repository in Informatica 9 • I have informatica 7 repository Move this repository to Informatica 9

  2. Restore Informatica 7 repository in Informatica 9 • Backup informatica 7 repository. • Open Administration Console of Informatica 9 • Create PowerCenter Repository Service(pic1)

  3. Give same name of repo as in informatica 7 Then click next

  4. Give the same DB info as in Informatica 7 Select this option And click Finish.

  5. Click here to Enable Service

  6. Click upgrade… I have upgraded that’s why upgrade option is disabled After upgraded click upgrade users and Groups…

  7. Congratulation • You have successfully restore informatica 7 repository in informatica 9. • Now create Integration Service and associate it with new upgraded repository (repo_mohsin1). • And start using in client tools (designer etc)
