Federation Registry Focus on Organisations • 0..n IdPs and 0..n SPs • Both AAF admins and organisation contacts involved in approvals workflow Overview The Federation Registry is the integration hub for AAF Identity providers and Service providers. It is central to the successful on-going operation of the Australian Access Federation and fully supports the AAF business model.
Features • Builds on concepts originally developed by SWITCH in RR. • Federated application, automated provisioning of new accounts • Registration wizards & workflow • Public signup for new subscribers, IdPand SP. • Automated Attribute Filter generation • Context sensitive help • Mobile friendly • Personalised dashboard view • Access control • Extensive reporting on federation usage and compliance
Behind the scenes • Groovy / Grails (Java) as core technology • Uses JQuery and Twitter Bootstrap in the UI • Extensible design – add your own plugin • Version 2.0 now in beta • Source and issues are all managed through Github, ongoing change managed with Git Flow
