Vision Mission The vision of HTBI & HEIC can be achieved through • Focused long term and short term plans • Focus on the three thrust areas – innovation/ entrepreneurship / outreach programmes. • Empanelling experts as advisors • Start working with students from their first year “To create an ecosystem in the campus which offers every student a chance to be innovative, creative and tactical to pursue his or her dreams and gain economic, technical and entrepreneurial expertise in their chosen field, thus realizing the vision of the university – To make every man a success and no man a failure”
HTBI & HEIC aims to • Induce innovation and entrepreneurial orientation in the students • Focus on the three thrust areas – innovation / entrepreneurship / outreach programs • Reaching out to students from all disciplines right from the first year, so as to provide ample time to discover themselves • Invite experts in respective fields to become part of HTBI & HEIC's advisory board • Network student enterprises from campus to incubators, seeding funds and angel investors. • Strengthen the function through focused long term and short term plans
AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS Hindustan University has won the NEN E-Week 2016 Honor Roll award in the South Zone.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS • Moscow Aviation Institute’s Business Incubator has expressed interest to collaborate with HITS and HTBI. • Shortlisted as a “National E-Hub” under the PM YUVA YOJANA project. • HTBI in Association with E-Cell of IIT Kharagpur, organized a National Level Two Days Workshop on Linux System Administration, in which 51 students from different colleges were trained. • Received NEN E-Week Honor Roll Award • Students mentored to win prizes in prestigious competitions – CII Connect, Infosys Hackathon, PALS innovation Challenge • 7 campus companies are incubated at the HTBI providing internships to 58 students • Campus companies and Student innovators participated in MSME expo, CII Startupreneurs and TiECON
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS • Flytta – a student startup incubated at HTBI, has been selected as a Nasscom 10000 startup and has been provided incubation at T-Hub, Hyderabad. • 239 students trained in Python Programming and 28 students trained in Dotnet & 61 Mobile APP Development through HTBI • Facilitated conduct of 27 webinars hosted by NEN • HTBI & HEIC was represented in 54 prestigious external programmes including TiECON, CII Startupreneurs, MMA – CK innovation awards, etc.

STARTUP ACHIEVEMENTS • Aero2Astro has been awarded as a promising startup by Indian Express in its 40-40 event recently held at Hyderabad. • Flytta selected in Nasscom 10k Startups 2016 and is housed at T-Hub, Hyderabad • Fix Karo was the finalist in Nasscom 10k Startups 2015 • Raven Aerial Technologies attempted Guinness record for the highest number of paper planes flying by school kids • Recon 3-D printing was well received in MSME Vendor Expo 2016

HYPERLOOP INDIA POWERED BY HINDUSTAN UNIVERSITY In consonance with its commitment to promote innovation, Hindustan University, Chennai has today provided a sponsorship of Rs.11.5 lakhs to Hyperloop India team. It is the first and only team from India (among only 2 from Asia) to have advanced to the final stage of SpaceX Competition Weekend II to be held soon in Hawthorne, California, USA. Starting small in Pilani, Hyperloop India has grown to become the largest student-driven multi-disciplinary team of its kind, constituting of students and faculty advisors from the top engineering and business schools of the country. A MOU to confirm the sponsorship was signed between Hindustan University and Workbench Projects today (7th July 2017) at Hindustan University campus and the sponsorship cheque of Rs.11.50 lakhs was handed over to Workbench Projects team.
