  2. What is a Gray Wolf?? • Wolves normally travel in packs. • The gray wolf is blackand gray. • A wolf is a mammal just like people. • They are the biggest breed of wolf at 3 to 4 and a half feet. • They weigh up to 45 pounds.

  3. What climate does he live in?? • Gray wolves live in cold climates. • The Gray wolf lives in the Tundra. • They live on the coast of Greenland.

  4. What a wolf needs. • It would need food for energy. • It would need shelter so if it gets a little different in the Tundra. • It needs somewhere to hide so it can catch its food.

  5. Adaptation-smell • It has a good sense of smell so it could smell its prey. • Its sense of smell helps for protection. • Its sense of smell also helps it smell danger.

  6. Adaptation-Stay in packs • They stay in packs for protection. • They also stay in packs so they can chase and surround their prey. • They also stay in packs so they can hunt for prey in different areas.

  7. Adaptation- Fur • The color of their fur helps them blend in with the snow. • Their fur keeps them warm. • They have two layers of fur.
