STRENGTHS • Vested interest in promoting KSU and helping meet 2025 goals. • We are the KSU in-plant printer assuring high quality printing and maintaining integrity of University branding, licensed wordmarks and images. • Print partners have been vetted through KSU purchasing that meet our quality standards.
In tune with University’s pulse, programs providing flexible scheduling to meet tight deadlines. • Departmental support = increased resources and expertise. • We serve a diverse clientele • Manhattan, Olathe and Salina campuses • Research and extension office across the state • Other state agencies (KU and KDA as examples)
WEAKNESSES • Reduced footprint increases need for local partnerships. • Funding affects availability to respond quickly to emerging print technology.
OPPORTUNITIES • University invested in the KSU in-plant to provide a service where other universities closed their shops • As clients, you can provide input to help us meet the services you need. We work for you! • Build stronger campus relationships. (campus bookstore – DCM)
THREATS • Budget reductions – clients will have less to spend on printing. • Technology – desktop publishing, low volume desktop machines. Rapid changing production capabilities. • Outside vendors
