SUSTAINABILTY INITIATIVES TO DATE • November 2010 Installed Power Factor Correction Equipment • August 2011– Approval for LED Upgrades at Annual General Meeting • September 2011 –156 Fluoro Lights in Fire Stairs converted to 82 LED multi function sensor lights • November 2011 – Converted 262 x 35w Halogen down lights • to 7w LED globes on residential levels, gym, pool and lobbies • February 2012– Converted 307 Fluoro Lights in Car Park • from T8 to T5 Eco Savers Kits • June 2012 Completed LED Upgrade • July 2012 Adjusted Variable Speed Controllers - TOU • March/April 2013 Installed 4 new Hydraulic Water Pumps Sets

  12. What is Power Factor Correction? Power Factor is the ratio of “useful” power to “total” power consumed. In simple words Power Factor is a measure of how efficiently electrical power is consumed. The ideal Power Factor is unity - or one. Anything less than one, (or 100% efficiency), means that extra power is required to run equipmentand a significant amount of wastage occurs.
