  3. Objective 1 Activate your SSO Account

  4. Open the CHROME web browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.)For this practice, use CHROME

  5. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner

  6. You will see a “drop down” menu

  7. Click on “New incognito window”

  8. The new “window” will look like this.

  9. Type “NVOC.org” here

  10. Move the cursor over the word STUDENTS (Don’t Click)

  11. Click on “Single Sign-On Accounts for Students”

  12. Click on “Activate Your New Adult Single Sign-On Account”

  13. Click on “Adult Student” This is also mylogin.lausd.net

  14. Click on Activate your account…

  15. Responsible Use PolicyEveryone (Teachers, employees and students) has to agree to the rules.

  33. Write your email down clearly. It’s long!Do NOT write down the PINin the same place you write your email address!

  34. Do not tell anyone your PIN!

  35. Look at the Password Rules. Double Check your email.

  36. Create a successful password. The red X’s become green check marks one by one.

  37. You need all green check marks to be able to re-enter the password

  39. Click on Submit

  40. Repeat until you see this! Write down your password in a safe and not obvious location

  41. Objective 2 Send an email from your new account to a specific email address

  42. Look at your tabs

  43. Click on the X to close the tab on the right

  44. You will be back at the “Links”

  45. Click on “Sign in to GOOGLE”

  46. If that didn’t work…

  47. Go back to NVOC.org

  48. Move the cursor over the word STUDENTS
