  3. ICT Statistics (1) 1. Population in 2008 = 228,523,300 2. Households in 2008 = 57,716,100 3. Income per Capita = Rp 7.5 millions 4. PDB per Capita = Rp 8.7 millions per year 5. % of Households with Fixed Phones = 12.69% (24.51% in cities, 3.72% in villages)

  4. ICT Statistics (2) • 6. Percentage of Households with Mobile Phones: • Total = 37.59% • Percentage in Cities= 55.03% and in villages = 24.33% • 7. Percentage of Households with Computers: • Total = 6% • Percentage in Cities = 11.54% and in villages = 1.6%

  5. Telecommunication Tariffs • After the Government regulated open network interconnections and the tariffs in 2007, the resulting current voice, data and internet tariffs in Indonesia are among the cheapest tariffs in Asia.
