  4. What would they look like?Popular ideas • Aliens would be benign • Some pretty far fetched ideas of aliens life in our universe • Aliens would have a humanoid figure • Why would they have a humanoid figure?

  5. What would they look like?Why a humanoid figure? • Easily identifiable • Provides comfort in thinking we are not alone • A wee bit arrogant

  6. What would they look like?Possible life, and its birth • Life as we know it on Earth may not be the status quo • But it is all we know • Makes it difficult to make any new ideas when we only have our knowledge base

What we can expect… • Astrobiologists, scientist who study the possibilities of alien life • Duncan Steele (a space researcher in Australia) believes in humanoid aliens • Ken Nealson of NASA has a few ideas… • General consensus is that aliens would be a bug like creature, but more believe they simply to be microbes.
