Early Years • Martin was born in 1929 January 15 in Atlanta. • His dads name is Martin Luther King Sr. • His mothers name is Alberta King. • When Martin was born the doctor said he was perfect. • When martin was a kid the Ebenezer Baptist church was like a 2 home to martin. • When Martin was a kid he had a white friend but when they turn six they go to school so when they start going to school they can not be friends with a white kid.

Middle Years • When martin was 17 he wasn't a minster like his father was yes but he was a sermon. • The very next year martin became a minster and also a assistant at his fathers church. • In 1948 martin graduated from collage. • In 1951 martin graduated from crozer he was the top student in his class so he moved to Massachusetts to study at Boston in Boston he met Coretta.

  4. Later Years • 1950 – fight for civil rights movement. • 1955 -Montgomery Alabama bus boycott. • The bus boycott almost drove the buses out of business . • After that a fire bomb was thrown at martins porch.

Important Facts • Loved listening to his fathers powerful words. • His brothers name is Alfred Daniel. • His sisters name is Christen. • His nick name is Ml. • In 1960 martin and 200 students were arrested for the lunch sit-in. • When they were put in jail they did not fight even when people yelled at them and spit at them even throw rocks at them they did nothing. • Martins kids were named martin luther king 3 and Bernice king and Yolanda king and Dexter Scott king. • Martin was so smart he skipped several grades he was 15 when he was in college.
