ISO Standard Current RFID Standards in use: • ISO 14443– standard for Proximitycoupling smart cards 。 with 7-15 cm reading distance for contact-less smart card。Most common usage in public transportations 。 • ISO 15693– standard for Vicinity coupling smart cards。 with reading distance up to 1m for contact-less smart card。Most common usage in access control。 • ISO 18000 series－Item Management due to the importance of Supply Chain logistics，ISO’s ISO /IEC JTCI /SC31 team design a set of 18000 standards to govern the Air Interface specifically for the “Item Management” using RFID。
