2. My Research • My research is about cars from the 1960’s from what we think of cars today in the world of the Outsiders!

3. Cars from 1960 • There are lot’s of 1960 cars from the life of Ponyboy, and in the book of The Outsiders. Even Soc cars, as well and so I’ll show you: (On The next slide.)

7. Soc Cars • The cars that Ponyboy described of the Socs is the 1960’s Blue Mustang, and a 1960 Chevrolet Corvair that him and Johnny saw of the Socs.

8. 1960 Blue Mustang • This is also the car that Johnny saw of the Socs when they beated him half-death when they jumped him. (As last of that quote I heard of in the book.)

9. Chevy 1960 Corvair • This is the 1960 Corvair that Ponyboy described of the Socs , and what they drive to make themselves more of an elite gang!
