  3. In 2006, Fremont and the Bay Area will be in awe of Celebrate Fremont’s Hands Around the Lake!

  4. This historic and first-of-its-kind event will mark the beginning of Celebrate Fremont @ the Park 9 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2006

  5. The lake path is 1.8 miles or 9,504 feet. • Using an average of 3 feet per person • will require 3,168 people to complete • the link. We have 3,500commemorative • shirts available for purchase. • - The fee is$5 forpurchase of the • commemorative t-shirt. • - Fremont Bank has generously agreed to • be a sponsor this event.

  7. This is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind event. It will have high-visibility with possible coverage by Bay Area media outlets. This is an historic event that people will want to say they were a part of.

  8. Event day shirt purchase is $7 if shirts • are available. • Participants are requested to wear • the shirt for the event. If religious • beliefs do not allow this the • participant is requested to wear • some form of clothing that is orange. • Participants need to check in by 8 a.m. • to allow time to get in position.

  9. We are encouraging • group and family registrations • to minimize the • logistical and • administrative requirements.

  10. Event information and shirt purchase form are availableon the Celebrate Fremont web site. It is highly recommended you purchase and pick up your shirt prior to event day.
