Rule #1Respect- How we act and listen to one another: • We want to create a warm classroom environment where everyone is treated equally. • Everyone works together and plays together • When Morah Weiss or another student is speaking to the class each student must pay attention to the speaker. • Students will keep hands, feet, and objectives to themselves • Each member of the class will welcome other students into their group. • Students will help one another when given permission and asked by the morah.

Rule #2 ALWAYS HAVEa positive attitude and USE positivespeech. • Students will ONLY speak kindly to each other. • Students will try and be thoughtful. • Each student will try and think before speaking. • Everyone will be included in activities. • Each student will see the good in every situation. Our mouths have two gates, our teeth and our lips…Do not forget what else our mouth does…It also smiles…a smile goes a long way! Don’t forget to use what Hashem gave you for the good!

  5. Rule #3Be responsible for yourself! • Complete your homework for the next day • Study for your tests • Ask for help when you need it! (Do not be shy, I will always make time to work with you, even if it is after class!) • Do your best and always put your best foot forward! • Take responsibility for your actions • Always choose honesty

Procedure 1BathroomIf you need to use the bathroom or get a drink at the water foundation what should you do? • Check to see if the beaded necklace is available. • Take the beaded necklace and place it around your neck. • leave the room quietly • Enter the hall quietly and walk to the bathroom or water fountain. • Remember: there are only 2 beaded necklaces to be used for the classroom to go to the bathroom and water fountain. Please return quickly and quietly so not to disturb the class or other classes. • If you do not return in a timely derecheretz manner you will loose your beaded necklace privileges and you will have to ask the teachers permission before using the bathroom or water fountain.

Procedure 2How to Raise your hand and ask a question • Before you raise your hand make sure: • That your question is on the topic • That you remember your question • If I do not answer your question it will be discussed later • Silently raise your hand • Wait to be called on • Your bottom should be down in your seat • Be patient!!

  8. Procedure 3How we listen and learn • Mouths closed • Ears open • Eyes open • Turn and face the speaker • Put down anything in your hand • Make sure everything is in your desk so you are not distracted • Wait for directions
