  5. The author of ‘the star’: He is one of the Scotland writers who was famous of his works: • ‘Lanark’ • ‘the star’ • ‘ a life in pictures’ He is also a remarkable brilliant painter .

  6. Summary The story is about a boy named Cameron, who sees a star falling down. He goes to the place where the star was fallen and takes the star with him. The star is cold but when ever he touches the star,

  7. Summary then he feels relaxed and comfortable. Once, he keep the star in the school out, the teacher notice it and would Cameron take him away, but Cameron swallow the star and he became a star.

  8. Plot Summary He was an imaginative boy who seems to be alwayas neglected and alone. Therefore, he is escaping from his real world where he is suffering to the imaginative

  9. Plot Summary world where he is having fun with his marble . So he imagined the star falling in the backyard. The story is told from Cameron’s perspective.

Expressions that suggest Negligence and loneliness: • His parents are busy: his father thoughtfully filled in a football coupon, his mother continued ironing. • The sleepy brother :he slept with his brother who was not easily wakened. • No friends :he was at the back of the class room in a disk by himself.

  16. Expressions which show the imagination in the world ofchildren: • Cameron imagined one of the stars falling into the backyard. • Sometimes it shone green and yellow , and other times it shone white and blue. • Sometimes seeing a snow flake , a flower , a jewel , moon.

  18. conclusion I think that the target of this story to convey a message: To the parents----care. To the teachers---kindness. In order to make them happy and active.
