  1. BOCC RESOLUTION ASKED THE RAC TO: • Meet at least 2x a month • Hold at least 2 public hearings • Elect a Chair • Publish a meeting schedule • Set aside time at each meeting for public input; and • Endeavor to complete its work by October 1st

  2. THERAC: • Met at least twice a month for three months and weekly thereafter • Held 18 meetings (including 6 public hearings) • Took public input at every meeting • Televised every meeting on Orange TV

  3. Noticed meetings in the Sentinel, El Sentinel, La Prensa & Orlando Times • Advertised the public hearings in ten newspapers (including Spanish-language newspapers) • Mailed over 2,800 postcards to HOAs, nonprofits & apartment management associations

  4. Sent media alerts every week to all local media stations, including Spanish-language outlets • Once maps were introduced, took public input multiple times during meetings; and • Completed its work on 9/28/11
