Mission • Get Fit Kauai’s mission is to improve the quality of life of the residents and visitors of Kauai County to promote opportunities for physical activity and access to healthy foods. • The coalition has formed four taskforces to address their mission: (1) Access to Healthy Foods, (2) The Built Environment, (3) Safe Routes to Schools, and (4) Worksite Wellness.
What is Worksite Wellness? • An organized, employer-sponsored program designed to support the employees as they adopt and sustain behaviors that reduce health risks, enhance personal effectiveness, and benefit the organizations bottom line.
