  1. EUCLIDES – Enhancing the Use of Cooperative Learning to Increase Development of Science studies 134246-LLP-1-2007-1-IT-COMENIUS-CMP EUCLIDES 12th-13th December 2008 Sofia 3rd Project Meeting This project has been funded with support from the European Commission. 2. FROM THIS POINT ON….. After the research phase and the definition of the curricula structure here it is a complete overview on the main activities to be implemented… Let’s start with EXPERIMENTATION …..

  3. What’s going on…. REALIZATION OF THE SOFTWARE OF THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND INTRODUCTION IN AN OPEN SOURCE PLATFORM This in order to  guarantee traceability and resources sharing In accordance with the results singled out in the previous phase:  Preparation of the Resource – systems of certification of the on-line activity Preparation of on-line and off-line monitoring systems for the evaluation of the accesses and for the creation of passwords Setting of the final structure of the software learning environment and of the concerning graphic realization Functionality Check and optimization, Publication on-line Start: 09/08 Duration: 5 months

  4. GOING IN DETAIL … THE RESULTS TO ACHIEVE FROM THIS POINT ON… Start: 09/08 Duration: 4 months

  5. Experimentation in the Schools • Definition of the experimentation calendar in the various schools of the project • Definition of the calendar of the group activities for the PBL • Start and development of the activities at national level • The experimentation will also foresee the following steps: • Monitoring of the development of the activities and of the outcome by involving the reference national authorities • Implementation of the wiki section of the platform by the students of the schools while working with the PBL approach • Facilitation activities (teachers), tutoring and coordination • Exchanges of experience (also live) through the platform among the schools of the various involved countries Start: 01/09 Duration: 6 months

  6. Experimentation in the Schools Evaluation questionnaires on the experimented methodology (by the students and the teachers) Implementation, in each country involved in the project, of a report on the experimentation outcome on thebasis of a uniform index (so as to facilitate the collection of data for the drawing up of the final summary report) Completion of the curricula by the students with the materials, the experiments and the simulations developed during the PBL path National conferences held by the students about the outcome of the experimentation “Students disseminate outcome”

  7. Definition of the Members for the National Commissions of the Education Systems

  8. Let’s have a look to DISSEMINATION Principles To promote the methods and the innovative instruments in order to transfer the project results. To increase the project visibility and so guarantee a major diffusion of the principles and the objectives it is based on. To diffuse the efficiency of the realization processes. To give information on the intermediate and long term results and the impact of the project activities, even when the project is completed. To introduce the activities each partner carries out during the entire project, implementing it both with regard to the intermediate results, and the final ones. To emphasise the results achieved with the work implemented by each project partner To give and diffuse good practices examples in the covered field To reach the better results as possible

  9. IN ORDER TO DO THIS, IT IS FUNDAMENTAL ….. For this purpose, in the partner countries the members of the Local Broadcasting Network (for the national dissemination) and of the Dissemination Team (for a more wide-ranging dissemination) have been singled out, and are involved in the project dissemination. A constant and capillary diffusion, as regards beneficiaries and potential users of the project, of the partial and final results, in the national language, in addition to the channels foreseen by the project (…Website, Newsletter, Video documentary,…). DURING ALL THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  10. The main dissemination arrangements and systems for the spreading of information and of the project outcomes in the EUCLIDES project are: TO DISSEMINATE ACTIVITIES AND RESULTS AND TO ADDRESS THE STAKEHOLDERS ON THE TOPIC

  11. OPPORTUNITY TO INFORM NATIONAL MEDIA (TELEVISION, NEWSPAPERS)

  12. TO UNDERLINE…. Each partner will spread promotional materials in its own original language and in English with information about activities and results achieved, especially those concerning the experimentation phase. All partners contribute to the valorisation and dissemination processes making the material easier to access and obtain for the target group across the Europe, with the purpose of making usable the dissemination activities and the promotion of the on-going results.

  13. DISSEMINATION • Dissemination actions are transversal to the entire project • The Dissemination Team (DT) has to: • guarantee diffusion and transferability of the results to other beneficiary groups and geographic areas. • monitor the objectives and the steps of dissemination. • gather the contents produced by the partners, the preparation and distribution of the informative material. arrange the dissemination meetings. • Purpose: to allow that the dissemination activities are immediately usable and promote the on-going results. • Moreover dissemination has to accompany the experimentation activities of the intermediate results and has the purpose of comparing the results with the users expectations, so to allow improvements and corrections •  One task is to encourage the DT members to promote the  • involvement in the Forum activities
