2. 11 Марта 2014 года в гимназии №54 прошел конкурс-игра “A TRIP TO LONDON”. Ученики 7х классов совершили виртуальную поездку в столицу Великобритании город Лондон. Во время этой экскурсии дети узнали много нового о Лондоне, делали стенгазету о наиболее памятных местах этого города, слушали песни Битлз, отвечали на вопросы о достопримечательностях города и разыграли сценки из жизни туристов в незнакомом городе.

5. Цель: обобщить и систематизировать знания о достопримечательностях Лондона. • Задачи: повторить и закрепить изученный материал; развитие навыков диалогической и монологической речи; поддержание интереса к изучению иностранного языка. • Оборудование: объявление об игре;компьютер и мультимедийный экран.

6. Ход игры: Разминка:Good morning children! Today we’ll travel to London. I promise our trip will be merry and interesting. You will learn about sightseeing in the British capital. You have a good opportunity today to take part in our game. You must know the rules. They are very easy. You must listen to participants and support them by clapping. I’d like to introduce our judges. (ФИ членов жюри). We ask you, judges, not to be very strong and forgive our participants the mistakes. And now let me invite our teams.Команды выходят под музыку Битлз “The Streets of London”

7. Ведущий: Let me introduce our teams.(Команды говорят название и девиз)The firstteam: Light Travellers Motto: The best way to travel it’s to travel lightThe second team: Crazy TouristsMotto: Travelling is the best way to learn the world

8. The game has 6 rounds. They are: • Guess the word • Match the parts • Do puzzles • Name the sights of London and describe any place you like • Answer the questions • Make up a dialogue

9. Ведущий:In this competition we’ll check how well our teams know some words. On your tables you can see some cards with the words. The task is to write them correctly. We can see this task on the blackboard.

12. Ведущий: In the next task you must match the parts and label the pictures which you can find on your tables.

13. Ведущий:The next point of our competition is a game. Do puzzles, show us the picture and name the sights of London. (Дети собирают пазлы под музыку Пола Маккартни“London Tower”)

14. Ведущий:It’s time to check your homework. Look at the blackboard, name the sights of London and describe any place you like. Crazy Tourists! Be carefully! (На доске фото некоторых достопримечательностей Лондона, члены команды называют их. После этого один человек описывает любую картинку, - это приготовленный дома рассказ)

Make up dialogues, use the words from the card!(Дети получили домашнее задание: разыграть сценки из жизни туристов Лондона, приготовили костюмы, но не знали какие точно будут ситуации и какие словосочетания необходимо будет использовать)
