Lover of Music - Darrell Cheyne: The Musician Darrel always believes in ‘A Day without Music is a wasted day’. Darrell Cheyne is close to music. He says that music leads to satisfaction of life and own self. The spiritual life helps music to offer its own capacity and strength that is the soul’s light, to the world at a huge scale. This is how he is. For Darrell, music is such an art form or cultural activity whose medium is only and only sound & silence, that exists in time. He also thinks that music is such a form of entertainment that can put the sounds together into something very precious. Most music form includes everyone singing with their voices or playing some musical instruments like the piano, guitar or even drums etc.
The meaning of the word “music” literally is: ‘art of combining a vocal or instrumental sound in some expressive or melodious way.’ But music actuallydoesn’t only satiate this definition but has a meaning which is far broader and better than this. Music is actually life. It means Self-expansion and also oneness with soul. Music is an art in itself. Art, in any of its forms or type, is a group of talented yet usually ordinary people, or generated by a person, that express, willingly or not. If we go through the history, Music was considered as an art then too. It may involve generative forms through the construction of some patterns and combinations of and through natural sound. Music may be used for artistic or, entertainment, ceremonial, communicative or religious purposes and by so many composers of music, purely stands as an academic instrument of study. Music is such an art form which consists of nothing else but sound and silence. Elements of sound in music are the melody, pitch, rhythm, harmony, scale, notes etc.
