2. Family crest • This is the bell family crest • On it there is three bells and A feeding deer • The bells represent the Origin of the name

3. Origins • The Bell family name comes from bell ringers or bell makers • The name came from the county of Dumfries in southern Scotland • The name originated before the year 1066

4. Bell clan • The bell family actually has its own clan in Scotland • This clan has its own motto (I beir the bel), a tartan etc. • The Bell Clan also has built multiple castles

5. How my families history has affected me • Both my father’s mother and his father’s mothers died when they were five which made me and my brothers fifth birthdays very scary • My dad was extremely smart in math and science when he was about my age • I am also a ginger with freckles which is very stereotypically Irish and my mothers family comes from Ireland (There name is Cardill)

6. Why I’m in Barbados • I am in Barbados at the moment for the sole reason that it offered a higher paying job and that it was an opportunity to travel.

7. TArtan • This is the bell family Tartan • It has the colors of the bell Family • A small amount of this Tartan would be given to a Wife at a traditional Wedding

8. Facts • Members of the bell family could be found in the doomsday book • From 1628 to 1990 there was no chief of the bell clan • The last chief before that was called redcloak

9. What I learned doing this • Through doing this presentation I learned that my family has actually in fact been around for a lot longer than I had ever thought that I was and that we built castles
