QCD MC data with PF Jets

QCD MC data with PF Jets. With Particle Flow Jets. Process Selection - ak5 PF jets - JEC: L2+L3 - |eta1| < 2.5 && |eta2| < 2.5 - Jet Pt > 30 GeV - | Δη | < 1.3 These are the Dijet analysis cuts from below paper:

  9. Same event comparison between BEST and dijet cuts 9 This plot is the same as page 8 but using the maximum to normalization.

  10. Same event comparision 10 Comparison of same events with dijet mass cuts in different pT ( comparing page 3 and 7).

  11. Same event comparision 11 This plot is the same as page 10 but using the maximum to normalization.

  12. Keng’s opinions on the results These are what I think. Correct me if I am wrong and add more comments The QCD MC study showed the threshold effect causes the peak shift to the left when we lower the pt cut as the same result in the BEST cuts. The slopes are consistent between dijet cuts and BEST cuts for same event.
