  3. With your white head and black feathers will it be easy to spot you ? Yes, it would be easy to spot me with my white head and black feathers . I also have a large yellow beak . I’m about the size of a small dog. My wingspan is 6 to 7 feet . I weight about 10 to 14 pounds. My length is 34 to 43 inches . With bright colors it will be easy to spot me.

  4. If I visited South America would I see you there? If you visited South America you would not see me there. I only live in North America in these places Florida, Bagia California, New York, Great Lakes, and Alaska. In all those places I live in Oceans, large rivers, and lakes. We migrate both coasts rivers and freshwater lakes. Those are the places we live.

  5. What do you eat and what eats you? Well, I like to eat a lot . Like Fish , rabbits ,mice , small birds , and ducks. I get eaten by ravens , crows , black bears , raccoon , bob cats , and ,wolverines' , and artic foxes.

  7. How do you defend your self and do you use camouflage? I don’t use camouflage but I do have some other tricks . Like the ability to fly I also have talons to catch my prey and to fight off predators. Some times people kill me for my feathers and we almost got extincted. So the government outlawed killing me. I don’t have camouflage but I have other things.

  8. Are your babies born alive or hatched from eggs? Our your babies are hatched from eggs. They’re born in nests. My newborns are small and are grey and white. My infants also have dark brown on them and light markings. Our babies can live 47(high) years in captivity. In the wild they live 28( high) years. We only have 2 or 3 eggs. We care for our babies by letting them sleep underneath us.

  9. Why do people see you as a symbol of freedom? People see me as a symbol of freedom because. I live on the top of mountains and I am a free, powerful, and a majestic bird.
