  1. Class Newsletter Ms. Hughes Room 15 Jan. 20th– Jan. 24th Class News Wednesday is the 100th day of school. We will be doing activities for it. Please complete the page attached to the homework packet and send it back by Wednesday. We have been studying Martin Luther King Jr and will do more this coming week. We are also working on tens and ones in math. Please contact me at jhughes1@fusd1.org with any questions, comments, or concerns you might have! Monday, Jan. 20, is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. There is no school. Book orders are due on Tuesday. Please make sure that your child does not bring toys to school. I will take toys away if I see them. . Homework Please practice spelling words with your child each night. There will be a test on Friday. Please have help your child memorize their sight words by practicing each night. There will be a test on Friday. Please read 20 minutes a night with your child and complete the reading log. 4. Please complete all of the pages of math. 5. Please complete the writing prompt with at least 1 full sentence and illustration. 6. Please complete any 3 spelling activities. Spelling City can also be done.
