  3. Michael Joseph Jackson(August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009) was an American recording artist, dancer, singer-songwriter, musician, and philanthropist. Referred to as the King of Pop, Jackson is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by GuinessWorld Records. His contribution to music, dance, and fashion, along with a much-publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades. The eighth child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene along with his brothers as a member of The Jackons5 in 1964, and began his solo career in 1971.

He began his musical career at age 7, as the lead singer of The Jackson family 5th The first solo album, Got to Be There released in 1971, while still a member of the group, which finally parted in 1984. Full artist began his solo career in 1979, and its peak in the turn of the 80s and 90 Twentieth century, after the release of "Thriller, whose worldwide sales of more than 100 million copies. After Thriller Jackson seemed more albums reaching high chart positions and sales Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), HIStory (1995) and Invincible (2001). • Karierę muzyczną rozpoczął w wieku 7 lat, jako wokalista rodzinnego zespołu The Jackson 5. Pierwszy solowy album „Got to Be There”wydał w 1971, będąc jeszcze członkiem grupy, z którą ostatecznie się rozstał w roku 1984. Pełną karierę solową artysta rozpoczął w 1979, zaś jej szczyt przypadł na przełom lat 80. i 90. XX wieku, po wydaniu albumu Thriller, którego światowa sprzedaż wynosi ponad 100 mln egzemplarzy. Po Thrillerze Jackson wydawał kolejne albumy osiągające wysokie pozycje na listach przebojów i sprzedaży: Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), HIStory (1995) oraz Invincible (2001).
