  1. Planet Mini-project You will be given a planet to research. You will present it using PowerPoint or Prezi (for those that are really tech-savvy you may use glogster.edu). Your group will have 6-8 minutes for their presentation. All work should be done in-class. You have to include the following information: • Average distance from the sun (miles or kilometers) • Mass (kilograms) • Diameter (miles or kilometers) • Temperature (Fahrenheit or Celsius) • Minimum • Maximum • Length of Day • Earth Day • Earth Hours • Distance of Orbit (miles or kilometers) • Number of Moons • Atmosphere • Surface Conditions (what is the ground like) • Position from the sun (Ex: Earth is the 3rd planet from the Sun) • Have one slide that compares and contrast your planet to Earth. You need to have 8 facts altogether for this.
