Two Greek Words兩個希臘字詞 A person’s “MORPHE” is his essential character whatever his appearance might be. 不論外表如何,一個人的"MORPHE"(形像)是他本有的性格 • A person’s or a thing’s “SCHEMA” is what he appears to be. • 一個人或物的外表是他的"SCHEMA"(樣貌) His “SCHEMA” might or might not match his “MORPHE”. 他的"SCHEMA"(樣貌)與他的"MORPHE"(形像)不一定相配
The “Form” of God:神的"形像" The Greek Word is ''Morphe'': ‘The “form” of God, (morphe) is that which truly expresses the nature and character of the person behind the face. 希臘字詞"Morphe":神的形像真實地表露神的本性和特性 A person’s “Morphe” is that person’s essential character. 一個人的"Morphe"(形像)是那人的本實的特性 Our Lord unalterably, unchangeably existed as God. That is His “morphe”. 我們的主就是神,沒有絲毫改變;那是祂的"morphe"(形像)
Metamorphothis:改變形像 A derivative of morphe is metamorphothis. Metamorphothis(變形)是morphe(形像)的衍生詞 A metamorphosis is that which takes place when the outward appearance, (schema) changes to match the inward essential reality & character of a person, (morphe). 改變形像是外在輪廓(schema)改變成內裏本質或一個人的特性(morphe) • Luke 9 • 路加福音九章 When Jesus was “transfigured”, (metamorphothis) when His face and clothing shone like the sun, His appearance (schema) was changed into a proper representation of His true nature. 當耶穌在山上"變像"(metamorphothis),他的臉面和衣服明亮如日頭,他的樣貌(schema)變成他本有真性情的合適顯露
Metaschematizo:裝模作樣 2 Cor.11:14 林後十一14 • Exactly the opposite is said of Satan when he transforms himself into an angel of light. • 當撒但改變成光明的天使,所描述的剛好相反 • This is not a metamorphosis but a metaschematizo, when he changes his appearance into something that does not reflect his true nature at all. • 當他改變成某些形像,不能反照他本有的真性情時,他不是改變形像,乃是裝模作樣 He only appears as an angel of light, when in fact his true morphe is that of the principle demon from Hell. 他只顯露為光明的天使,其實他的真實形像是來自地獄之鬼魔的頭目

John’s Gospel約翰福音 • John begins, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. All things were made by Him and without Him nothing was created... and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. • 太初有道,道與神同在,道就是 神‧這道太初與 神同在‧萬物是藉著他造的…道成了肉身住在我們中間,充充滿滿的有恩典有真理‧我們也見過他的榮光,正是父獨生子的榮光‧

Hebrews 1:1-3希伯來書一章1-3節 God spoke to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds, Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High. 就在這末世,藉著他兒子曉諭我們,又早已立他為承受萬有的,也曾藉著他創造諸世界‧他是神榮耀所發的光輝,是神本體的真像,常用他權能的命令托住萬有,他洗淨了人的罪,就坐在高天至大者的右邊‧

Being equal with God與神同等 Verse 7 第7節 He emptied Himself… 反倒虛己 refused to hold what was rightfully His, the prerogatives and privileges of God. 拒絕握著他應有的,就是神的特權和權利
What did our Lord empty Himself of?我們的主倒空了甚麼? • He didn't empty Himself of His deity, or He would have ceased to exist. • nor any portion of His deity. • His deity is His essential being. • He is eternally in the morphe of God. • 他沒有倒空他的神格,若不然他便停止存在 • 他沒有倒空他是神的任何部分 • 他的神格是他的本質 • 他永遠是神的形像(morphe)
He left His heavenly glory for His work on earth.他離開他天上的榮耀,到地上來工作 • John 17:5 • 約翰福音十七章5節 And now, O Father, glorify Me... with the glory which I had with You before the world was. 父阿,現在求你使我同你享榮耀,就是未有世界以先,我同你所有的榮耀‧ He gave up the glories of Heaven for this world's dark night. 他捨棄天上的榮耀,來到世上的黑夜 • He gave up the adoring worship of the angels for the blows and the spitting of sinners. • 他捨棄天使的敬拜,忍受罪人的唾罵
He emptied Himself of His independent authority:他倒空他自己本有獨立的權柄 • As a man, He completely submitted Himself to the will of the Father. • 作為人,他完全順服在父的旨意下 • There could never have been any disharmony within the Trinity, but it was fitting that the Lord of Life and glory, when He became a man, should submit Himself, as man, to the will of God. • 三位一體之神不可能存在不和,但生命榮耀的主成為人後,順服在神的旨意下,是合宜的 • That is what God requires of all men • 那是神對所有人的要求

He left behind His riches:他捨棄他的富足 • 2 Corinthians 8:9 • 哥林多後書八章9節 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典‧他本來富足,卻為你們成了貧窮,叫你們因他的貧窮,可以成為富足‧
Eventually He lost fellowship with the Father.最後他失去與父的相交 • On the cross, the unthinkable happened while He bore our sins, • He was abandoned by His Father: • 當他在十字架上擔負我們的罪時,不可相像的事發生了, • 他被他的父離棄 Matthew 27:46 馬太福音廿七章46節 My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? 我的 神,我的 神,為什麼離棄我?

Hebrews 2:17希伯來書二章17節 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God... 所以他凡事該與他的弟兄相同,為要在神的事上,成為慈悲忠信的大祭司… Hebrews 4:15 希伯來書四章15節 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathise with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. • 因我們的大祭司,並非不能體恤我們的軟弱‧他也曾凡事受過試探,與我們一樣‧只是他沒有犯罪‧
Verse 8第8節Being found in appearance (schema) as a man...既有人的樣子(schema) Remember: 謹記: • “Schema” is what a thing or a person appears to be on the surface. • "樣貌"是一件事物或一個人的外表 • His “schema” might, or it might not truly represent his “morphe”. • 他的"樣貌"不一定代表他的形像 • Though His “morphe” was that of both God and man, people simply saw Him only as a man. 雖然他有神和人的"形像",人們只看見他是一個人
Verse 8 第8節 He became obedient unto death. 存心順服,以至於死 Not just obedient unto death, but even the death of the cross. 不單存心順服,以至於死,且死在十字架上 • Crucifixion was excruciating, cruel, humiliating, the ultimate in human degradation. 釘十字架是極度殘酷,令人蒙羞,至為恥辱的
God's response to His humiliation - exaltation.神對他受羞辱的回應 – 高升 The Gospel of our Lord Jesus is not complete without His exaltation. 沒有他的高升,主耶穌的福音不能完全 • The theme of our christian faith is bound up in these verses. 我們基督徒信仰的主題蘊藏在這幾節經文內 From humility to exaltation is one of God's major objectives. 從謙卑到高升是神主要的目標之一
The first step from humiliation to exaltation – His resurrection:第一步從謙卑到高升 – 他的復活 • Acts 2:32-33 • 使徒行傳二章32-33節 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.[33] Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God... 這耶穌,神已經叫他復活了,我們都為這事作見證‧[33]他既被 神的右手高舉… • Acts 13:34 • 使徒行傳十三章34節 • He raised Him up from the dead no more to see corruption... • 神叫他從死裡復活,不再歸於朽壞… • Ephesians 1:20 • 以弗所書一章20節 • He raised Him (Christ) from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. • 使他從死裡復活,叫他在天上坐在自己的右邊,遠超過一切執政的,掌權的,有能的,主治的,和一切有名的‧不但是今世的,連來世的也都超過了‧
The second element - His ascension:第二個原素 – 他的升天 • Acts 1:9 • 使徒行傳一章9節 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 說了這話,他們正看的時候,他就被取上升,有一朵雲彩把他接去,便看不見他了 • Hebrews 4:14 • 希伯來書四章14節 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God... 我們既然有一位已經升入高天尊榮的大祭司,就是神的兒子耶穌… Acts 2:33 使徒行傳二章33節 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God... 他既高舉在 神的右邊… The right hand of God is the place of power. He is the supreme Ruler of the universe. 神的右邊是能力的地方 他是宇宙的至高統治者
Matthew 28:18 馬太福音廿八章18節 All authority has been given to Me in heaven & on earth. 天上,地下所有的權柄,都賜給我了‧ John 5:22 約翰福音五章22節 The Father has committed all judgement to the Son... 父…將審判的事全交與子‧ • Acts 7:55 • 使徒行傳七章55節 But he (Stephen), being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven saw the glory of God, & Jesus standing at the right hand of God... 但司提反被聖靈充滿,定睛望天,看見 神的榮耀,又看見耶穌站在 神的右邊‧
The third element - His coronation:第三個原素 – 他的加冕 See the source of His exaltation: 看他高升的源頭: • v.9 • 第9節 • Wherefore, God has highly exalted Him and given Him a name that is above every name. • 所以神將他升為至高,又賜給他那超乎萬名之上的名, • Acts 5:31 • 使徒行傳五章31節 Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Saviour... 神且用右手將他高舉,叫他作君王,作救主 • 1 Pet.3:22 • 彼得前書三章22節 • Who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him. • 耶穌已經進入天堂,在神的右邊‧眾天使和有權柄的,並有能力的,都服從了他‧
His exaltation reverses His humiliation.他的高升顛倒他的謙卑 Romans 14:9 羅馬書十四章9節 For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. 因此基督死了,又活了,為要作死人並活人的主‧ 1 Corinthians 15:25 哥林多前書十五章25節 For He must reign till He has put all His enemies under His feet. 因為基督必要作王,等神把一切仇敵,都放在他的腳下
Romans 10:9羅馬書十章9節 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 你若口裡認耶穌為主,心裡信 神叫他從死裡復活,就必得救‧ We must receive Jesus Christ as Lord. 我們必須接受耶穌基督為主

What is our only proper response to His exaltation?我們向他的高升該作出甚麼回應才算合適? Worship! 敬拜 Verse 10 第10節 thatat the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow. 因耶穌的名,無不屈膝 Verse 11 第11節 Every tongue will (eventually) confess Him as Lord. 無不口稱耶穌基督為主
The purpose of His exaltation is glory.他被高升的目的是榮耀 Verse 11 第11節 That every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 無不口稱耶穌基督為主,使榮耀歸與父神‧ When we say, Jesus is Lord, we honour God the Father equally with God the Son. 當我們說耶穌是主,我就會尊榮父神和神的兒子
