CEE FAQ What type of classes does CEE offer? • CEE offers classes targeting grade levels K-12. • We cover all major academic areas including science, social studies, math, literacy, and the arts, and many classes are interdisciplinary How did CEE get started? • CEE was founded in 2004 by a group of students, teachers, and parents. What’s the mission of CEE? • To provide innovative educational programs that inspire dynamic personal, artistic and intellectual growth • To foster creativity, thoughtfulness, acceptance and community while embracing diversity • To develop students’ natural curiosity into a life-long love of learning How does the program improve education in Washington? • We work with teachers to design programs that fulfill state-mandated curriculum requirements, use hands-on learning, and encourage enjoyment through exploration. • Hands-on learning experiences benefit students in many ways: • The experiences engage students with a subject in a new way, making comprehension, analysis and synthesis more accessible to students • The experiences is memorable and inspires a love of learning
