  1. Interoperability Summary

  2. Find your content package. • Use Windows Explorer to identify your zipped content package on your local disk.

  3. Open with Reload Editor • Examine the structure, and amend if necessary.

  4. Preview in Browser • This page shows some Web content.

  5. Preview in Browser • This page shows a Simulation.

  6. Preview in Browser • This page shows a Test (described in QTI XML and rendered in the LTScotland Flash Test Renderer)

  7. Add Metadata • with the Reload Metadata Editor.

  8. Export Content • Save the content as a zipped content package, ready for reuse.

  9. Upload to JORUM Intralibrary

  10. Visit the JORUM web site • Click on ‘Deposit materials’.

  11. Choose JORUM Intralibrary • Click on Access Intralibrary

  12. Login with your X4L username • All X4L projects can put content into JORUM Intralibrary

  13. Upload Learning Object • Transfer your local content from the Repository.

  14. Edit Metadata • Metadata can be added or edited in JORUM IntraLibrary. This will help others find your content.

  15. Classify Learning Object • According to the built-in vocabulary, the Item Response Theory content is classified under technology.

  16. Publish Learning Object • Make the content generally available.

  17. Find content in JORUM Intralibrary

  18. Discover Object • Use the search field to search content Metadata.

  19. Save Object • Once found, the object can be added to your own library of content.

  20. Preview Object • The document contents can be previewed.

  21. Export Object • The learning object can be exported from the database as a content package.

  22. Upload to MLE

  23. Login MLE • In this case, the MLE is PIONEER from Learning and Teaching Scotland.

  24. Set Up New Course • Assign the course to a class, and add the content

  25. 16: Browse Content in LMS • Use the links at the bottom for navigation.
