Performance ratings of Rw 40, 45 and 50 are standard but specially engineered doors with ratings up to Rw 60 are available. These doors usually must be specially engineered with purpose designed frames and supports. In spaces where sliding doors are to be installed special wall mounted track systems are necessary, along with engineered sills for which cut outs in the floor slab may be required.
