ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT The impact of a person or community on the environment, expressed as the amount of land required to sustain their use of natural resources. • Eco footprint helps us understand that a small proportion of the population is consuming a large amount of the resources. • Approx 20% of the population consumes 80% of resources
