Ethical problems with energy sources • Satisfy current needs at the cost of future generations? • No perfect alternative plan • Wind, Solar, Biofuel, Gas, Coal..Cheaper but dirty alternatives • Affected groups of people: • Everybody, Taxpayers, Our children, People affected by power stations, Companies • Consider • Healthy planet for future generations • Energy prices for global competitiveness • Research, development, overlap with global demand

Air ethics - hazardous dense haze  • Human right: Breath clean air not to damage the health • Causes: coal, vehicles and industrial dust • Solutions: clean energy; clean or less vehicles;  strict control on industry production energy (vide supra) vehicles vs bicycles (no one can opt out) industry structural adjustments • people's health should not be the victims of the economic development

  5. Do nations act ethically or politically? - A hydro-electric power project on Nile river. The Nile river is the world's longest river in the world flowing 6,700 kilometers through ten countries. In May 7, 1929, Egypt and the United Kingdom signed the Nile Agreement and Later Sudan accepted the Nile Agreement in 1959. The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is under construction and is expected to generate 6,000 MW of electricity. The Dam has created tension and unethical response from Egypt higher government officials.
