Fast Faraday Cup @ AWA • Fast Faraday Cup designed by former LT intern Teng Jian Khoo (2008) • Previous tests have already shown cup has a rise time of 50ps (fast!) • This summer: test resolution time of cup in multi-bunch trains • RF period of AWA is 770ps • Desired result is a resolution time of <770ps – this means the cup can see if bunches are synchronized to RF phase!
